Launching the sustainable guideline for domestic workers in support of 8 languages

Abu Dhabi, June 2/ WAM/ The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure launched, in partnership with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, the sustainable guideline for domestic workers, which represents one of the public community initiatives, and is concerned with enhancing rationalization practices in electricity and water consumption, in a way that supports the national program for managing energy and water demand, and enhances the UAE’s targets in achieving environmental sustainability and rationalizing water and electricity consumption.
The evidence aims to spread the culture of rationalization and environmental awareness among the category of domestic workers, by providing them with simplified practical and behavioral guidelines that contribute to the optimal use of resources and reduce waste, which reflects positively on the efficiency of energy and water consumption, and enhances the quality of life and the sustainability of natural resources, in line with the country’s targets to achieve climate neutrality, reduce the carbon imprint, achieve development Sustainable.
The Ministry was keen to prepare the guide in eight different languages, to ensure that information reaches a wide segment of domestic workers, their nationalities, in order to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the sustainable recommendations and practices included in the guide, and thus ensuring the achievement of the desired results on the ground.
His Excellency Eng. Fahd Al Hammadi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Assistant Infrastructure for the Support Services Sector, said that the launch of the sustainable guidance guide for supportive domestic workers comes within the framework of the Ministry’s efforts to involve all groups of society in supporting the state’s directions towards sustainability, especially those groups that play a direct role in the daily life of families, and the guide is an important tool to establish rationalization practices and enhance environmental awareness in the category of employment Home.

He added that the ministry’s keenness to issue the guide in eight languages ​​reflects its commitment to reaching the largest possible segment, in a way that enhances the effectiveness of the national program for managing energy and water demand, and supports the UAE’s targets in building a conscious society, and participates effectively in achieving the vision of “we 2031”.
He explained that the launch of the guide comes within a series of qualitative initiatives implemented by the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure in cooperation with its strategic partners, to consolidate sustainability practices, and motivate community members to play a pivotal role in achieving a balance between development and preserving resources, in a way that contributes to enhancing the state’s competitiveness and leadership in global sustainability indicators.
For its part, His Excellency Dalal Al -Shehhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Human Resources and Assistant Emiratisation for the Acting Work Protection Sector, stressed that the launch of the guide represents an important step towards promoting environmental culture and social responsibility, between the category that is an essential part of the social fabric in the country.
She said that the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation pays great attention to raising the awareness of domestic workers and providing them with knowledge that enhances its contribution to achieving the state’s goals in the field of sustainability, noting that providing evidence in multiple languages ​​reflects the government’s keenness on the inclusiveness of the initiative and expanding its impact on various groups.
She pointed to the ministry’s keenness to support initiatives that enhance the quality of the life of community members, and contribute to building an environment based on awareness and empowerment, in a way that keeps pace with the targets of “UAE 2031” and the ambitious vision of the country to achieve climate neutrality and sustainable development.
