The UAE and Kuwait signs a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding to enhance cooperation between the two countries

In the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State, Deputy Prime Minister, President of the Presidency Bureau, and His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al -Ahmad Al -Sabah, Prime Minister in the sisterly State of Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates and the State of Kuwait today signed a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding, which aims to expand the horizons of cooperation between the two countries, within the framework of the official visit by His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Kuwait.

The agreements, which were signed in Bayan Palace, aim to enhance bilateral cooperation in many fields and build effective partnerships that serve the mutual interests of the two countries and their development priorities.

The agreements and notes include the following:
– A memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the health field, signed by the UAE Abdul Rahman bin Muhammad Al Owais, Minister of Health and Community Protection, and from the Kuwaiti side, Dr. Ahmed Abdel -Wahab Al -Awadi, Minister of Health.

– A memorandum of understanding between the Anwar Gargash Diplomacy Academy and the Saud Al -Nasser Al -Sabah Institute, the Kuwaiti diplomat, was signed by Khalifa Shaheen Al -Murre, Minister of State, and Abdullah Ali Abdullah Al -Yahya, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

– A memorandum of understanding in the field of land transport and roads of roads, signed by Suhail bin Muhammad Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, and Dr. Noura Muhammad Al -Mashhaan, Minister of Public Works.

A memorandum on cooperation in the field of social affairs and social development, signed by Shama Bint Suhail Al Mazrouei, Minister of Community Empowerment, and Dr. like Hadi Al -Huwaila, Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs.

– A memorandum of understanding in the field of advanced industry and technology, signed by the UAE, Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al -Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, and from the Kuwaiti side Khalifa Dahi Al -Ajil Al -Askar, Minister of Trade and Industry.

– A memorandum of understanding in the educational and educational field, signed by Sarah bint Youssef Al -Amiri, Minister of Education, and from the Kuwaiti side signed by Sayyid Jalal Sayed Abdel Mohsen Al -Tabtabaei, Minister of Education.

– A memorandum of understanding in the field of oil and gas, signed by Suhail bin Muhammad Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, and Tariq Suleiman Al -Roumi, Kuwaiti Oil Minister.

– A memorandum on cooperation in the field of combating human trafficking and a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the legal field, signed by Emirates Abdullah bin Sultan bin Awad Al -Nuaimi, Minister of Justice, and from the Kuwaiti side Nasser Youssef Al -Sumait, Minister of Justice.

– A memorandum of understanding in the field of electricity, water and future energy, signed by Suhail bin Muhammad Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, and Dr. Subaih Abdulaziz Al -Makhizim, Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy.

– A memorandum of understanding in the field of direct investment encouragement, signed by Muhammad Hassan Al -Suwaidi, Minister of Investment, and Sheikh Dr. Mishaal Jaber Al -Ahmad Al -Sabah, Director General of the Direct Investment Promotion Authority.

– A memorandum in the field of protecting data and mutual information in joint security projects, signed by the Emirates, Major General Khalifa Khalifa Haret Al -Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, and from the Kuwaiti side, Major General Ali Misfer Al -Adwani, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior – by assignment.

The “Partnership in the Infrastructure of Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure” agreement was signed by MGX, Black Rock, Global Infracement Partners and Microsoft, to expand and include the Kuwaiti Investment Authority, in addition to signing a contract between the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense and the UAE Edge Group to buy and deliver a number of missile boats “Falag 3”.
