The head of the state and the Egyptian president discuss brotherly relations and regional developments

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, discussed with his brother Abdel Fattah Al -Sisi, President of the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt, the brotherly relations and various paths of cooperation and joint work and continued pushing them forward, especially in the fields that serve the development goals in the two countries in order to achieve their mutual interests and return with goodness and growth on their two brotherly peoples.

This came during the reception of His Highness – at the Beach Palace in Abu Dhabi – the Egyptian president who is on a brotherly visit to the UAE, where His Highness and President Abdel Fattah Al -Sisi exchanged congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the coming Eid Al -Adha …

The two sides also reviewed a number of issues and files in common concern and exchanged views on them, especially the developments taking place in the Middle East region and ways to restore security and stability in the region, stressing in this context the importance of intensifying efforts to cease fire in the Gaza Strip and work to find a clear political horizon for a fair and comprehensive peace that is based on a “two -state solution” and guarantees stability and security for all.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and President Abdel Fattah Al -Sisi also affirmed during the meeting, the joint keenness to continue consulting and coordination between the UAE and Egypt on everything that serves the mutual interests of the two countries and contributes to promoting stability, security and peace, which is the way to achieve development and prosperity for all the peoples of the region.
