Today, His Eminence, Bishop Yoans, Bishop of Assiut, was elected, Secretary of the Holy Synod of the Coptic Orthodox Church. This came during the plenary session of the complex held this morning at the Logos Center in the Monastery of St. Anba Bishoy in the Natrun Valley, and three of the bishops were elected as two assistant secretaries, and they are: – His Eminence, St. Stephanos, Bishop of Baba and Al -Fashn. His Eminence, St. Marcus, Bishop of Damietta, Kafr El -Sheikh, Al -Barari, and the head of the Monastery of St. Damiana, Barari. – His Eminence, Bishop Mark, Bishop of Paris and North France. The members of the Holy Synod shared the feelings of thanks and appreciation for the effort made by the Secretarial Committee during the past years.
