Amman International Film Festival raises the slogan "A world outside the text"

The Amman International Film Festival – the first movie, will be held from 2 to 10 July, witnessing a distinguished course under the slogan & quot; a world outside the text & quot; which is the festival in which its commitment to cinema is renewed as a free platform to display bold voices and films that reflect the diversity and uniqueness of Arab and international cinema.

& nbsp; the festival administration announced the sixth session of the festival, more than 60 films from 23 countries, with a focus on the first cinematic works of film makers.

These films are shown in three main showrooms in Amman, in addition to shows in some governorates of the Kingdom. For the first time, the festival presents an exclusive presentation of influential stories from Gaza, which reflects the increasing interest in films that highlight the important social issues in the region.

Official competitions

Long feature Arabic films: This year includes a group of strong films that discuss various social and humanitarian issues such as & quot; searching for an outlet for the exit of Mr. Rambo & quot; And & quot;"RTL"> Long Arab Documentary Films: highlighting issues such as & quot; Abu Zaabal 89 & quot; And & quot; we are inside & quot; to open a window to political and social reality.

Non -Arabic Films: The festival displays a variety of international films such as & quot; Happy End & quot; From Japan and & quot; Aisha’s story & quot; From Canada, which reflects global artistic and cultural diversity.

Films outside the competition: This year is characterized by the presence of a non -competitive section that includes films that contribute to enriching the festival’s artistic program, such as & quot; under the roof of my mother & quot; And & quot; UNRWA, 75 years of temporary date & quot;

Lighting on Irish cinema: In a special step, a special program is dedicated to celebrating the Irish cinema, due to the choice of Ireland as & quot; the country guest of honor & quot; this year. This will add new dimensions and highlight unconventional cinematic works.
