The UAE University and McCil Canadian declare the winners of the joint research grant program

Al Ain on June 10/ WAM/ United Arab Emirates University and Canadian University of McGill announced the winners of the first session of the joint research grant program.
This initiative – which was launched to enhance the high -influential cooperative research between the two institutions – aims to support multidisciplinary projects that address global challenges in the fields of science, medicine and law.
The four projects that won this program include “Augmented Learning Project and TinyML methodologies, energy -saving for drones and vertical downs VTOL UAVS” with a focus on enhancing its capabilities through advanced machine learning and the “Oit genes safety technology technology in a random experience on the sensitivity of peanuts, milk and eggs”, which is a pioneering study to evaluate the safety of oral immune therapy, and the project. “Establishing and verifying their authenticity of artificial intelligence, capable of collecting high-quality magnetic resonance images for multiple sclerosis” with the aim of improving diagnostic imaging through artificial intelligence, as well as the “Crispr-LCAS9: Developing genetic liberation and exploring its moral and legal dimensions” which explores the prospects for the technology of genetic modification and its societal effects.
Dr. Rami Bayram – co -deputy for scientific research at the Emirates University – stressed that this cooperation with McGil University shows the commitment of the Emirates Strategic University to enhance global partnerships that contribute to supporting influential multidisciplinary research and said that the winning projects highlight how academic cooperation contributes to finding revolutionary solutions to complex challenges in the areas of health, technology and society, noting that the university’s keenness to support initiatives that not only enhance the scientific discovery, but rather, but also It is also in line with national priorities and an effective contribution to the global scientific research system.
For his part, Dr. Christopher Manfredi, Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs of McGil University stressed that global research partnerships are extremely important to McGill University, noting the importance of strengthening partnership with the United Arab Emirates University through granting joint research.
He explained that the joint program is an important step towards deepening academic relations and advancing the transformative research that serves regional and international societies.
