Health: Training 891.6 thousand medical staff in 5 years
The Ministry of Health and Population announced the implementation of a comprehensive plan to develop human resources in the health sector, during the period from 2020 to mid -2025, through extensive training programs that targeted all workers in medical, technical and administrative specializations, and this comes within the framework of the state’s strategy to advance the health care system and raise the efficiency of service providers in various governorates of the Republic. The total training programs that were implemented during this period amounted to 24 thousand and 131 training courses, of which 891 thousand and 603 trainees benefited, noting that the training programs included multiple sectors, including the medical profession development sector, the primary care and family development sector, the medical medicine sector, and the preventive medicine sector.
