A telephone call between the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency
A telephone call took place between Dr. Badr Abdel-Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, and Affairs of Egyptians Abroad, and Rafael Grossi, Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, where the two sides discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Egypt and the agency and developments in the Iranian nuclear file. The verification system under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
The call also dealt with the Iranian nuclear file, where Minister Abdel Ati stressed the importance of continuing efforts aimed at building confidence and creating the necessary conditions for continued cooperation between Iran and the Agency, which provides a real opportunity to reach diplomatic solutions, resume dialogue, and reach a comprehensive agreement on the Iranian nuclear file that takes into account the interests of all parties, and contributes to achieving regional security and stability.
