It was announced that the student’s victory for Mar Tariq Ali Al -Jaafara, from the tenth grade of the same school, with the head of the Ras Secondary School for Girls, affiliated to the Southern Mazar Directorate, during the closing ceremony of the ninth session of the Arab Reading Challenge hosted by the Jordanian capital, Amman, in the presence of His Excellency Professor Dr. Azmi Governorate, Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the Hashemite Kingdom Consular affairs and citizens ’services at the UAE embassy to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the participation of Dr. Fawzan Al -Khaldi, Director of Programs and Initiatives at the“ Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Initiatives ”Foundation, in addition to a number of officials and educators based on the initiative of Arab reading challenge and parents of competing students, and a crowd of students and those interested in cultural affairs.
The closing ceremony also witnessed the coronation of Osama Al -Safi, from the Ain Al -Basha district, with the title of “Distinguished Supervisor”, and in the category of determination, the student Lian Adnan Nasser won the eighth grade in Beit Jaffa Elementary School of the Kasbah Irbid district, first place after qualifiers in which 6 thousand students participated.

For his part, Dr. Fawzan Al -Khaldi, Director of Programs and Initiatives at the “Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Initiatives” Foundation, stressed that the Arab Reading Challenge initiative was able to achieve major achievements at all level Diligence, cognitive achievement, and the ability to express self in a high -level Arabic language.
Dr. Al -Khalidi congratulated the winners, winners and participants in the qualifiers for the ninth session and parents of male and female students, thanks to the Ministry of Education in Jordan and all schools, teachers and teachers, and to everyone who contributed to achieving this new achievement.
The ninth session of the Arab Reading Challenge initiative, which is under the umbrella of the “Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Initiatives”, witnessed a record participation of 32 million and 231 thousand students from 50 countries representing 132 thousand and 112 schools, and under the supervision of 161 thousand and 4 supervisors and supervisors.
The Arab Reading Challenge, which was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God preserve him in 2015, aims to consolidate the culture of reading in the Arabic language, as a language capable of keeping pace with all forms of arts, science and knowledge, and the desire of Arab youth in the language of the opposite, and encouraging them to use it in their daily dealings.
