After consulting with the head of state and his approval .. Mohammed bin Rashid announces changes in the UAE government

Abu Dhabi, June 20 / WAM / After consulting and the accreditation of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the State, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him, announced today changes in the UAE government, and the adoption of the national artificial intelligence system, as a consultant member of the Council of Ministers and the Ministerial Council for Development, and the boards of directors of federal bodies and government companies all from the beginning January 2026.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said, in a publication of His Highness on his account on the “X” platform: “Brothers and sisters … after consulting with my brother, the head of the state, may God protect and adopt him, we announce today some changes in the government of the UAE as follows: the establishment of a Ministry of Foreign Trade in the UAE government, and the appointment of Dr. Thani Al -Zyoudi as Minister of Foreign Trade, and changing the name of the Ministry of Economy to be the Ministry of Economy and Tourism and takes it down by Abdullah bin Tawt.”
His Highness added: “We also announce that the national artificial intelligence system will be adopted as a consultant member in the Council of Ministers and the Ministerial Council for Development and the boards of directors of federal bodies and all government companies, starting from January 2026 with the aim of supporting the decision -making in these councils and conducting immediate analyzes of their decisions and providing technical advice to them and raising the efficiency of government policies adopted by these councils in all sectors.”
His Highness continued: “The world is going through a comprehensive, scientifically, economically, and societal reuoring phase, and our goal is to prepare from today for the next contracts, and to ensure the continuation of well -being and a decent life for future generations.”
