Emirati publishers transfer the voice of Emirati creativity to the heart of Beijing

Sharjah, June 21 / WAM / The Emirati Publishers Association, represented by a group of established and emerging Emirati publishing houses, participates at the Beijing International Book Fair 2025, highlighting the UAE experience in developing the publishing industry, especially in the field of innovative children’s books and educational content.
Participation in this exhibition, which is the largest platform for the exchange of publishing rights in Asia and the second largest book exhibition in the world within the framework of the association’s commitment to enabling Emirati publishing makers, expanding the prospects for international cooperation and enhancing Emirati presence on the global publishing arena.
In the exhibition, the association platform represents a vibrant interface for the local publishing scene, as it combines firm experiences and young voices in the field of child literature and educational publishing, including publishers from the graduates of the “Ashre” program, which was launched to support the new generation of publishing industry pioneers in the country and provide professional and technical support for them.
Among the participating publishers are: Hamda Al -Balushi, the Foundation of “Your World Publishing and Distribution”, the Secretary of the Fund and a member of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Publishers Association, Salim Abdul Rahman, Director General of the “Al -Rawiya Publishing House” and Ghassan Rabie, represented by the “Rabie Publishing” house.
As for the Khariji of “Anchor”, the association’s platform witnesses the participation of the names of the building of the Dar Publishing Foundation, which focuses on teaching the Arabic language with innovative methods, and Fatima Al Hammadi, the “Sakhb Publishing and Distribution Foundation” specializing in providing educational content directed to the owners of determination and students of autism.
Throughout the exhibition period, which extends from 18 to 22 June, the association’s program includes a set of qualitative activities that collect content and publishing makers from the Emirates and China, most notably the World Children’s Books Forum 2025, which focuses on the topic of “integrated innovation in children’s books in light of the new circumstances” where the association shares the Emirates experience in supporting the book industry, especially children’s books and the development of emerging minds.
A dialogue session entitled “Care of Emerging Minds … Priorities for Publishing Children’s Books in the Emirates and China” with the participation of the publisher Hamda Al -Balushi and the publisher Ghassan Rabie, along with a group of Chinese publishers specializing in child literature.
His Excellency Rashid Al -Kous, Executive Director of the Emirati Publishers Association, stressed that attendance in such major international exhibitions represents a strategic opportunity to exchange rights, expand professional relations and explore new markets for Emirati and Arab content.
He said: We focused this year on the Emirati experience in children’s books that carry international messages with a local spirit and are led by young publishers with a clear vision and a real passion, and by enabling them to establish a new generation that reflects the spirit of innovation and originality.
He explained that participation in the Beijing Show is an extension of the UAE’s vision in supporting creative industries, especially publishing as a vital tool for transferring knowledge and promoting cultural dialogue, and he said: Every international participation is an opportunity to export our cultural voice to the world and reflect the real creative energies that the UAE store Emirati.
The publisher, Hamda Al -Balushi, described her participation in the exhibition at the important station in her career, noting that she had made way to interact and exchange visions and ideas with publishers from different parts of the world and strengthened the chances of the house in cooperation and exchanging rights, especially with the Asian market.
