On International Women’s Day in Engineering … Emirati women make industrial excellence

Abu Dhabi, June 23 / WAM / The Emstil Group affirmed its commitment to supporting the UAE’s vision in strengthening the role of women in the vital sectors, in conjunction with the country’s celebration of the International Day of Women in Engineering ”, which falls on June 23 of each year.
The group adopted proactive policies to enhance resettlement and enable women’s cadres, as Emirati female citizens constitute more than 60% of the total women’s workforce in “Emsteil”, which reflects the commitment to enhance resettlement and enable national cadres in various disciplines, including the exact engineering and industrial fields.
Engineer Saeed Ghamran Al -Rumaithi, CEO of “Amstel”, stressed that the group pursues integrated policies concerned with sustainability, gender equality, and empowering Emirati women to be a key partner in the sustainable industrial and economic development process for the UAE.
He explained in a statement to the Emirates News Agency “WAM” that the enabling of Emirati engineers reflects the company’s firm commitment to support the sustainable development goals, and to build a work environment based on the principle of inclusion and balance between efficiency and diversity.
He pointed out that the International Women’s Day in Engineering represents an opportunity to celebrate the inspiring achievements achieved by Emirati engineers, stressing that the group continues to support their career and enhance their role in advancing industrial growth in the country.
Engineer Maryam Al Shamsi, an operations engineer in the group, said that her experience in “Emple” contributed significantly to the development of her professional personality, as it works within the operations team to monitor performance, production and safety, as well as pursuing technical indicators related to iron melting and carbon ratios.
The engineer, Afra Al -Yaqoubi, one of the engineers in the group, reviewed her role in developing the future of the industry using advanced digital tools and continuous improvement of efficiency, especially within the trends related to sustainability and environmental responsibility that encourages the continuation of work towards a future characterized by awareness and responsibility.
On International Women’s Day in Engineering, the group confirms that investing in women’s competencies is an investment in the future, and that Emirati women are able to lead and innovate in the heart of factories and laboratories, as they are in all areas of life.
