“Health” announces the support of critical and urgent care services with 713 nurseries and a career
The Ministry of Health and Population announced the support of the critical and urgent care system with 713 nurseries and concentrated sponsorship bed for adults and children, in implementation of the directives of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population, to work to improve the medical services provided to citizens in all facilities affiliated with the ministry. The spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, that this increase was during the period from the first of July 2024 to the end of May this year, at a rate of 144 children’s care beds, and increased nurseries in the same period with a total of 241 nurseries, in addition to increasing the number of intensive care family for adults with a total of 328 beds in all governorates. And 232 supply requests for medicines from the beginning of January to the end of May 2025 at a value of 19 billion pounds, in addition to the supply of medical supplies to the Ministry’s stores, in preparation for their distribution to medical facilities with a value of 2 billion pounds. Cabinet complaints, from the first of July 2024 and the end of April 2025, while the same period included providing nurseries for 1210 reports, in addition to responding to requests to provide blood bags for 648 reports.
