Dubai Municipality opens registration for the 14th session of the award for best sustainable development practices
Dubai, July 2 / WAM / Dubai Municipality announced the opening of registration for the fourteenth session of the Dubai International Award for Best Sustainable Development Practices organized by the municipality in cooperation with the United Nations Human Settlements Program “UN-Habitat / in honor the world.
The award, which will be announced for its winners during the World Summit on Governments in the year 2026, aims to celebrate the best global practices of innovative ideas and projects aimed at creating a positive impact to improve the conditions of the living environment and develop the concepts of urban and urban planning for cities that focus on upgrading the quality and quality of life in societies and human settlements and the protection of the environment according to the foundations and integrated frameworks of international cooperation as well On supporting programs and urban policies, which contributes to providing a more sustainable and quality future for future generations.

The award includes 5 main categories designed to honor projects and ideas that keep pace with global challenges and changes and create sustainable solutions that rise to human societies, which are the category of best practices in the field of urban renewal, public places and the category of best practices in the field of preserving urban food systems and the category of best practices in dealing with climate change and reducing pollution in addition to the category of best practices in the field of planning and management Urban infrastructure and the category of the most beautiful innovative and iconic building.
The overall financial value of the award, which is awarded to the winners, is one million USD, as it is a motivation to continue innovation and create solutions in various fields such as the environment, climate change, pollution reduction and infrastructure.
