Djokovic and Cheventic qualified at Wimbledon Tennis Championship

London, July 3/WAM/Serbian Novak Djokovic, sixth seed in the world, qualified for the third round of Wimbledon tennis, after beating the British Dan Evans with three groups without reply, by (6-3), (6-2), and (6-0).
Djokovic is facing the next round, his compatriot, Momer Kismanovic, after reinforcing his record in the major championships against players from the host country to 35 wins in exchange for a single loss against Andy Murray in the Wimbledon 2013 final.
Canadian Felix Oje Aliasim, ranked 25, lost to German Yan Linard Struv (3-6), (7-6), (6-3), (6-4), to hit the latter as the date with the defending Spanish Carlos Alcaraz.
Frenchman Arthur Renderkic continued his brilliance with a marathonian victory over Chilean Christian Garin in three groups against two (3-6), (6-3), (7-6), (4-6), and (6-3), to face the Polish Camille Machirzak in the third round.
Italian Luciano Dardiri beat British Arthur Ferry (6-4), (6-3), and (6-3), while Spain’s Joom Monar qualified at the expense of Hungarian Fabian Marzan (6-2), (6-3), and (7-6).
In the individual women’s competitions, Polish Ija Chefiontek, the first seeded, booked the transit card for the third round after beating the American Katy McCieli with two groups against one (5-7), (6-2), and (6-1), to face the American Danielli Collins, who in turn defeated the Slovenian Veronica Ergavik (6-4), (6-1).
Czech Barura Criticova, ranked 17, qualified for the third round after beating American Caroline Dolide with two groups against one group (6-4), (3-6), and (6-2), to meet with the American Emma Navarro.
Russian Ekaterina Alexandrova defeated the Dutch Susan Lacomos (6-4) and (6-0), to face the Turkish Zainab Sonmes, while Swiss Blinda Bencic outperformed the French Elissa Jacimot (4-6), (6-1), and (6-2), to meet Italian Elizabeta Kochrareto.
Kazakhi also qualified Elena Ribakina, the heroine of 2022, after beating Greek Maria Sakari (6-3) and (6-1), while Russian Lyodella Samsunova defeated Ukrainian Yulia Starodubsvis (6-2), and (6-1).
Ukrainian Diana Yarmska qualified by beating Russian Anastasia Zakarova (5-7), (7-5), and (7-6).
