The rise of Seoul Texas deaths to 67 of them 21 children

The search for girls who lost a summer camp for Christian girls invaded by Seoul in the US state of Texas entered its third day today, with a rise in the number of deaths in the region to at least 67, including 21 children.
Larry La Betha, CARE police chief in Texas Hill Country, the flood center, said that the number of deaths in the province reached 59, including 21 children.
La Betha added that 11 girls and one of the guides were still missing from the Summer Camp Mestic camp near the Jadalabi River, which overflowed after heavy rains in central Texas on Friday, which was the Independence Day holiday in the United States.
An official in the province of Travis said that four people were killed by the torrents there and that 13 others are missing. Officials said that one of the people also died in Kendall Province. The Burant Provincial Police Commander’s office said that two had been recorded, while the police chief in San Angelo announced that a dead woman was found in her submerged car in Tom Green County.
Laitha added that the work is still ongoing to identify 18 adults and four children in Kiir Province. It was not clear whether these individuals were included in the number of deaths of 59.
Officials said that more than 850 people, including some who cling to the trees, had been rescued after a sudden storm caused rain, whose level reached 38 centimeters in Hill Control in the state, approximately 140 km from northwest of San Antonio. It was not clear exactly the number of those who are still missing.
Experts asked whether President Donald Trump’s administration reduced the workforce in federal authorities, including the agency that supervises the National Meteorological Authority, led to the lack of accurately predicting officials and issuing appropriate warnings before the storm.
Rick Spinrad, the former director of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, said that Trump and his administration have supervised the reduction of thousands of jobs in the administration, followed by the Meteorological Authority, which left many meteorological offices suffering from a lack of the number of employees.
He added that he does not know whether to reduce the number of employees contributed to not issuing a prior warning from the severe Seoul Texas, but he said that he would inevitably lead to a decline in the administration’s ability to provide precise predictions and time. The Minister of Internal Security, Christie Nayyim, the supervisor of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, said that a warning of Seoul “medium degree” issued by the National Meteorological Authority on Thursday did not carefully predicted these heavy rains. She added that the Trump administration is working to update this system.
The White House has not yet responded to a request for comment.
More rain is expected in the area today, Sunday. The Meteorological Authority issued a warning against the continuation of the torrents in CARE until one o’clock in the afternoon local time. 700 girls were staying in the camp at the time of torrents.
