Abu Dhabi Police won 97 medals in the World Police, Shooting and Firefighters Championship

Abu Dhabi, July 8/ WAM/ The Abu Dhabi Police General Command team won 97 various medals (44 gold, 25 silver and 28 bronze) in multiple sports competitions, as part of his participation in the World Police Championship and firefighter that was held in Birmingham, USA during the period from June 28 to July 6, 2025, and this qualitative achievement is a new addition to the leadership and global sporting excellence march, It embodies the efficiency and readiness of the Abu Dhabi Police cadres and enhances the presence of the UAE in the world championships.

The team participated in sports games that included shooting, the Country (external running), bicycles (track, road, and climb), geoghetsu, chrossings, spear throws, running races 800 meters, 1500 meters and a half marathon, in addition to triathlon and swimming of all kinds, along with fixed rowing (archemest).

Brigadier Dr. Rashid Porsche Al -Naqbi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Sports Police Council, praised this honorable sports achievement, stressing that these results are the result of unlimited support from the police leadership of its employees, and its keenness to provide an integrated training and sports environment that contributes to refining talents.

The results resulted in distinguished achievements in the sport of geojitsu by winning a number of gold and bronze medals, in addition to the brilliance of the team in running competitions and throwing spears and Russians, achieving gold, silver and bronze medals in the track races, roads and climbing, as well as the achievements of the Cross Country teams by achieving the gold race gold for a distance of 10 kilometers.

In the swimming competitions, the team achieved several gold, silver and bronze medals in individual and group races, which included butterfly and back races, free swimming and diverse relapse races, as the team starred in fixed rowing, adding many medals through races 500 meters and 2000 meters of various categories and weights.

The closing day also witnessed a great brilliance in the triathlon races and a half of the marathon, as the team won gold, silver and bronze medals in the individual triathlon, as well as the team crowning the sequential gold -sequences gold in the Treethlon for +18, +30 and +40 categories, as well as the semi -marathon silver individual and golden teams in the half -marathon race.

In the field of shooting, the team strengthened its score by achieving honorable results in four main competitions: the air gun first place in the category of teams and the first and second places, the individual category, and the 22 -carat Olympic Venice Competition (one position) The team won the first place category and the Al -Fari category won the first, second and third places, while for the 22 -carat Olympic Competition (three modes), the team won the second place in the category of teams and the individual category is second. And the third, in addition to the pistol competition in the PPC and motor skills, during which he achieved 6 gold, 7 silver and 5 bronze medals, to confirm its position among the best police teams at the international level.
