Abu Dhabi Police is implementing an initiative "Together for a safe shade" To protect workers
Abu Dhabi, July 9 / WAM / The Traffic Department and Security Patrols in the Al Ain district of the Traffic and Patrols Directorate of Abu Dhabi Police implemented the initiative “Together for a Safe Shad” in which it targeted 500 people from the category of workers who work in various professions in a number of areas of Al Ain city, as part of its continuous efforts in the community year 2025 to enhance community safety and maintain the health of community members during the summer.
Colonel Saeed Ali Al -Hassani, Deputy Security Patrol Affairs – Al Ain at the Traffic Department and Security Patrols in Al Ain region, stressed the keenness of Abu Dhabi Police to consolidate the concepts of prevention and safety, and to enhance human values and community solidarity, noting the importance of the cooperation of community members and community institutions to protect this vital group, especially in climatic conditions as an integral part of the march of growth and construction.
The initiative included the distribution of cold water packages, solar caps and other preventive supplies to protect them from the sun’s heat, and the awareness branch of traffic and traffic education – Al Ain region contributed to educating workers about the risks of direct exposure to sunlight at peak times by distributing guidance pamphlets in several languages to ensure awareness messages reach the largest possible segment of workers and auxiliary groups of different nationalities.
The initiative witnessed a positive interaction of workers who expressed their gratitude for this generous gesture, valuing the human and social role of Abu Dhabi Police and its continuous interest in their safety and comfort.
