Expand the scope of amateur participation in the second edition of the tournament "Treethlon T100"

Dubai, July 16 / WAM / Dubai Sports Council announced the launch of the second edition of the “Tartlon Dubai T100” championship, during the period from 13 to 16 November, in cooperation with the International Treethlon World Professional Organization, within the agenda of Dubai Fitness 30 x 30.
The council affirmed in its statement today that the 2025 edition will be the largest and the best of its kind, by expanding the scope of participation for amateurs in the full distance race (100 km) and short distances, in addition to organizing activities designated for schools and races that follow the companies.
Amateur races include a distance of 100 km (2 km swimming, 80 km bikes, 18 km running), short distances (750 meters swimming, 20 km bikes, and 5 km running), and registration has been opened to participate through the official website of the tournament.
Ahmed Al -Khaja, Executive Director of the Dubai Festival and Retail Foundation, stressed that hosting the tournament reflects Dubai’s commitment to enhancing its global position in sports tourism, and is in line with the targets of the “Dubai Economic Agency D33”, indicating that the 2024 version has achieved great success, and that this year’s version is expected to attract wider global attention and support Dubai economy.
For his part, Issa Sharif, Director of Sports Events Department at the Dubai Sports Council, indicated that hosting the global tournament last year was a qualitative addition, and that this year’s copy will witness a remarkable expansion in partnership with the international organization.
Sherif said that the “T100” race collected a group of the best athletes in the world, and witnessed the crowning of the Belgian Martin Van Rale, and the American Taylor Knip, with men and women’s titles, respectively, and attracted about 10,000 participants from the amateurs, which strengthened the success of the Dubai Fitness Challenge.
In turn, Sam Renov, CEO of the Treethlon Professionals Organization, explained that the success of the Dubai version in 2024 made it one of the most prominent global tour stations, stressing that the 2025 version will witness a broader participation of individuals and companies, in a festive atmosphere that combines swimming, cycling and running in the famous field field.
The “T100 T100” tour was launched in Singapore, then San Francisco and Vancouver, to be completed in London during August, before its journey in Dubai, and concluded in the Qatari capital, Doha.
