The adoption of the Al -Shuhaif Championship program for the 2025 season

Dubai, July 17 / WAM / Sharjah International Marine Sports Club has approved the Emirates Fast Wooden Boat Championships for the 2025 season, under the supervision of the Emirates Marine Sports Federation, in cooperation with the Ras Al Khaimah International Marine Sports Club, and under the main sponsorship of the “Mag” holding group.
The tournament comes within the framework of the efforts to preserve the Emirati marine heritage and enhance its presence in the sports scene, by evoking the cultural values related to the history of the sea in the UAE, and linking new generations to its authentic roots.
Ahmed Al -Hosani, Director General of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, stressed the importance of preserving and strengthening maritime heritage through sports platforms that return to mind the stories of the inspiring grandparents, indicating that the Al -Shafif Championship is not just a competition, but rather a celebration of the ancient national identity.
The tournament will be held on four main rounds, the first in Sharjah on September 20, the second in Ras Al Khaimah on October 25, and the third in Kalba on November 14, and the fourth in Khor Fakkan on December 27.
The championship aims to revive the heritage sport of heritage in a professional manner, which enhances youth participation and supports societal association with national heritage.
The championship includes accompanying activities in each tour, in cooperation with the Emirates Sports Federation, to provide an integrated community experience that reflects the depth of the relationship between the Emirati person and the marine environment, and highlights the role of sport in linking heritage to sustainable development.
