"Sharjah Planning" Provides high -resolution modern satellite images

Sharjah, July 22/ WAM/ The Planning and Survey Department in Sharjah, in cooperation with the Federal Center for Geographical Information, announced the provision of modern high -resolution satellite images of up to 15 centimeters, as part of efforts to update geographical databases and promote the quality of urban planning in the emirate.

Engineer Hamad Juma Al Shamsi, head of the department, stressed that these images are an essential tool for gathering spatial information and updating the descriptive data of the plans, which contributes to raising the accuracy and efficiency of urban planning, and supports the vision of the Sharjah government towards smart and sustainable cities based on digital transformation.
