"Arabic chess" The stage of resolving titles enter into Casablanca

Casablanca on July 26/ WAM/ The Arab Chess Championship entered the age groups from 8 to 18 years for males and females and a category under 20, organized by the Royal Moroccan Chess University in Casablanca under the supervision of the Arab Chess Federation, its decisive stages, with a number of players approaching the deduction of titles in their categories.
The fifth day of the tournament witnessed the presence of a number of prominent personalities, including Chips Lubang, President of the African Chess Federation, Patrick Van Hollande, President of the International Francophone Chess Association, Tarim Matar Tarim, President of the Emirates Chess Federation, Bushra Al -Qadri, President of the Royal Moroccan Chess and Chairman of the Organizing Committee, along with heads of delegations.
The Egyptian was the intelligence of Ahmed Mohamed, an under -12 category for females, with the full score (7 points), followed by Palestinian Randa Sidr in second place with 5 points, then Moroccan Maryam Al -Haraq in third place with 4.5 points.
In the under -16 category for children, the Egyptian Farid Tamer Wajih managed to lead the full score (7 points), ahead of two points from his nearest Emirati competitors Rashid Hussein Al Hammadi (5 points), while five players share third place with 4.5 points, and attention is directed to the last round to resolve the rest of the groups, due to the convergence of points between competitors.
The international referee Abdullah Murad Al -Mazmi, Chairman of the Referees Committee, explained that the current version is distinctive, as it is conducive to the 50th anniversary celebrations of the founding of the Arab Chess Federation, offering congratulations to Sheikh Dr. Khalid bin Humaid Al Qasimi, President of the Arab Federation.
He pointed out that the tournament is witnessing the participation of 17 referees from 6 Arab countries, representing the elite arbitration cadres, praising the level of organization and participation, and considered it an important platform to gain experiences for players and referees alike, especially as it is accredited by the International Chess Federation.
