Educational, societal and recreational activities enrich the summer of 2025 in the Emirates
Abu Dhabi, July 28/ WAM/ During the summer of 2025, the various emirates of the state witnessed a season full of events and programs organized by government agencies and community institutions, with the aim of investing the summer vacation period in developing skills, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and providing various entertainment and cultural options for all members of society.
In the capital, Abu Dhabi, the activities of the “Abu Dhabi Sports Summer” organized by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council were launched in cooperation with “ADNEC”, and provides an ideal environment for the practice of a wide range of sports in air -conditioned internal facilities, as well as open societal competitions and championships.
Other regions of the state are witnessing similar sporting activities, the most prominent of which is the open societal sports day in the Hatta region, with wide participation of different age groups.
In the city of Al Ain, the second edition of “Al Ain Sports Summer” was launched, which aims to enhance the health of society and spread the culture of exercise as a lifestyle.
Within societal initiatives, the Emirates Balanced Development Council launched the “Summer of the Emirates” program, which targets villages and distant areas by organizing educational and recreational activities directed to children and families in a way that contributes to promoting local development and community participation.
The Emirate of Sharjah witnessed the launch of the activities of the “Summer Caravan 2025” organized by the Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, and includes educational, cultural and technical activities dedicated to children and adolescents, with programs to integrate people of determination and provide them with the opportunity to participate in various summer activities.
In Fujairah, the activities of the “Summer Fan” program, which focuses on developing children’s skills and adolescents in the fields of art and creativity, started, while the Department of Economic Development in Ajman launched the “Summer 2025” initiative that aims to provide awareness and entertainment workshops for families and dealers.
On the educational level, the Department of Education and Knowledge in Abu Dhabi launched specialized summer programs for school students, including workshops in the fields of innovation, artificial intelligence and entrepreneurship, while the Federal Youth Foundation launched the “Emirates Summer 2025” program to enhance youth skills and refine their talents, in addition to various programs in youth centers in various emirates of the country.
The activities of the “Hama Al -Saifi” for the Emirati Special Olympics, which provides sports and recreational activities for people of determination, will continue to contribute to their integration into society, while the Ministry of Interior launched through the Child Protection Center its awareness campaign “together towards a safe summer”, and the national ambulance launched its annual campaign “Safe Summer … Ready” to raise awareness of safety and first aid.
In the same context, the Ras Al Khaimah police launched the “Summer Without Accidents” campaign, which focuses on educating drivers about traffic safety during the summer period.
In the tourism and entertainment sector, Dubai Summer Surprises 2025 continues to attract visitors with its various offers and family activities, which enhances the state’s position as a distinguished tourist destination throughout the year.
These comprehensive summer programs confirm the UAE’s keenness to invest the summer in capacity building, enhance societal awareness and provide an integrated entertainment and educational environment for various categories.
