The UAE “Good Birds” continues to drop aid over Gaza

The UAE, in cooperation with the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, continued to carry out air projection operations within the process of “birds of goodness”, and yesterday carried out the 55th projection process of humanitarian aid over the isolated areas in the Gaza Strip, for the second day in a row.
This comes within the framework of the “Al -Faris 3” process, which reflects the UAE’s firm commitment to continuing to support the Palestinian people and alleviate their humanitarian suffering, especially in areas that cannot be reached by land due to the security situation.
The total aid that was dropped, since the beginning of the “Birds of Good” initiative, amounted to 3750 tons of basic food and relief items, which included basic foodstuffs and vital supplies that meet the armed needs of families affected by the difficult and catastrophic humanitarian conditions in the sector, in continuation of the continuous human efforts made by the UAE.
Meanwhile, yesterday, an Emirati aid convoy entered the Gaza Strip through the Rafah Al -Masry crossing, as part of the state’s efforts to support and relief the Palestinian brothers during the current circumstances within the humanitarian “Al -Shahh 3” operation.
The convoy included 38 trucks, which included 18 trucks loaded with food, medical and infant formula, in addition to 20 trucks loaded with tubes, tanks and equipment for the operation of the new water line, which will extend from the Emirati desalination plant in Egypt to the displacement area between the Palestinian Rafah and Khan Yunis with a length of seven kilometers and produces two million gallons per day.
Another convoy of 25 trucks entered yesterday, loaded with water pipes and equipment needed to equip the water line, bringing the total number of trucks that transported the water line supplies to 45 trucks, and the introduction of the equipment was completed in preparation for the start of the project implementation.
The UAE renewed its confirmation of continuing to work in coordination with regional and international partners, to ensure the delivery of aid to the needy in the sector through various air, land and sea means, in line with its firm humanitarian approach and its pioneering position in the areas of relief and humanitarian work.
It is noteworthy that the UAE has resumed, since yesterday, the operations of “birds of goodness” for air projection, in addition to running the convoys of humanitarian aid through the Rafah crossing, as part of its continuous commitment to support the Palestinian people and alleviate the intensity of humanitarian conditions in the Gaza Strip.
