Abu Dhabi, July 29 / WAM / The Nahom Marine, affiliated to the Abu Dhabi Ports Group, announced the official opening of its first office in Shanghai, which will be managed by Nawatom Marine Services, concerned with marine agencies and services.
The new office will contribute to enhancing the group’s strategy to expand its global presence, taking advantage of the prominent position of Shanghai as a major center for trade and logistical services at the international level.
“Nawatom Marine Services” provides comprehensive solutions for rental, owners, operators and ship directors of all kinds and relevant goods, starting with loading operations to discharge operations, taking advantage of the experiences that you gained by working in more than 814 ports around the world.
The new office also aims to provide support for the growing customers base in China and all over the world, which supports its strong presence in 77 ports across 17 countries.
The new office was opened in the presence of a number of senior officials, including His Excellency Mohammed Abdul Rahman Al -Hawi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Investment; Mansour Al Mulla, CEO of the group in “ADQ”; Captain Mohamed Jumaa Al Shamsi, CEO and Managing Director of Abu Dhabi Ports Group.
The office is characterized by a strategic location in the heart of the city of Shanghai, and the same site shares with the current commercial office of “Logistics” in Shanghai, which reflects integration in operational operations, and the clear approach to the Abu Dhabi Ports Group in providing its services along its business units and sectors.
On this occasion, Captain Ammar Mubarak Al -Shaybah, CEO of the Maritime Sector and Shipping, said that the Abu Dhabi Ports Group, that Shanghai is a pivotal contact point in the global supply chain, as the office will allow work closely with the tenants and ship owners in the region, and to continue to provide highly efficient and quality services to customers around the world, stressing their aspiration with the continued expansion of the group’s network, to employ their expertise and their proximity to local markets to achieve Operating excellence, to meet the needs and expectations of dealers.
It should be noted that the opening of the “Nawatom Marine Services Office” in Shanghai comes in the wake of the recent announcement of the Abu Dhabi Ports Group about expanding its global offices network by opening its first office in the heart of the Chinese capital, Beijing, in a move confirming the group’s commitment to continuing to grow and expand the Chinese market and enhance its presence in the most prominent vital marine centers in Asia. With the opening of the new office, the number of group offices throughout the Greater China region rises within its global network, which includes more than 140 international offices.
