The launch of the process of operating the delivery service using self -driving vehicles is an extension of the efforts of the transportation system and logistical services to adopt modern technologies in the sector, which contributes to the development of a smart transportation system that promotes the quality of life and supports sustainability, in order to achieve the Kingdom’s 2030 vision targets.
The experiment aims to provide innovative and safe delivery solutions based on self -driving vehicles, in order to enhance the efficiency of logistics services, and provides a modern technical experience within residential and commercial societies.

This initiative is a practical model for the integration of the public and private sectors in developing smart logistical services, and embodying the directions of the General Transport Authority towards a more sophisticated and sustainable future.
This launch comes as an extension of the adoption of the latest technical solutions, as the General Transport Authority launched the first applied phase of self -driving vehicles to transport passengers in Riyadh, as part of a qualitative step to adopt the latest smart innovations in the transport sector.
