The two -state solution conference is preparing to conclude its work at the United Nations headquarters

The conference, sponsored by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and France, aims to help end the occupation and embody the establishment of the independent and sovereign state of Palestine that lives side by side in peace and security with Israel.

On behalf of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, France and the main countries participating in the work teams emanating from the International Conference* Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan approved the closing document of the conference and its attachment.

He said that “These outputs reflect comprehensive proposals through the political, humanitarian, security, economic, legal, and narrative axes, and constitute an integrated and viable framework for the implementation of the two -state solution and achieve peace and security for all.”

He called on all member states of the United Nations to support the final document before the seventy -ninth session of the General Assembly ended in September.

What came in the document?

The document includes an agreement on joint work to end the war in Gaza and reach a just and permanent and permanent settlement of the Israeli -Palestinian conflict based on the effective application of the two -state solution, and to build a better future for Palestinians, Israelis and all the peoples of the region.

The condemnation of all attacks from any party against civilians, including all terrorism, indiscriminate attacks and all attacks against civilian notables, provocative actions, incitement and destruction.

The closing document of the conference indicated that taking hostages is prohibited under international law. She emphasized the rejection of any actions that lead to regional (land) or demographic changes, including forced displacement of Palestinian civilians, which is a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law.

The attacks committed by Hamas against civilians were condemned on October 7. It also condemned the attacks by Israel against civilians in Gaza, the civil infrastructure, the siege and starvation, which led to a devastating humanitarian catastrophe and a protection crisis.

The document said that war, occupation, terrorism, and forced displacement cannot lead to peace or security, and that the political solution is the only one to achieve this.

She added that ending the Israeli -Palestinian conflict and the application of the two -state solution are the only way to meet the legitimate aspirations – according to international law – for both the Israelis and the Palestinians and the best way to end violence in all its forms and any destabilization role from non -states, and put an end to terrorism and violence in all forms, ensuring the security of the two peoples, the sovereignty of the two countries, peace, prosperity and regional integration for the benefit of all the peoples of the region.

Officials and delegates in the document pledged to take concrete steps with a time frame and cannot be retracted for the peaceful settlement of the issue of Palestine and the application of the two -state solution, and the embodiment of – as soon as possible through concrete work – the independent democratic state of Palestine capable of continuing economically, which lives alongside Israel so that regional integration and mutual recognition.
