South Korea’s tourism sector witnessed a recovery during the first half of 2025, as the country received up to 8.83 million foreign visitors, an increase of 14.6% on an annual basis. The country during the period from January to June 2025, which represents 104.6% of the total number of tourists registered in the first half of 2019, before the outbreak of the Corona pandemic.
