The UAE national team in the first group in the world championship basket
Johannesburg on July 31/ WAM/ The World Basketball Championships will start tomorrow, Friday, 3 x 3, which South Africa will be hosted from the first to the fourth of August next with the participation of the UAE national team.
14 teams participated in the championship, distributed in three groups, and the UAE team is running competitions in the first group alongside Britain, Egypt, Croatia and Kenya, while the second group includes the teams of Australia, Poland, South Africa, Malaysia and Solofenia, while the third group includes the teams of Spain, Canada, Austria, and Portugal.
The national team’s mission arrived in South Africa yesterday, headed by Ismail Al -Marazik, the team manager, the technical and administrative bodies consisting of coach Abbas Aqakujki and the assistant Tariq Eliasi, in addition to 4 players: Mohamed Hashil Al Habsi, Jassem Murad Ramadan, Mansour Al Naqbi, and Muhammad Al -Hamid Al Hashemi.
This participation is a new station in the UAE basketball team on wheelchairs, after its positive results in the Asian and Oceania championship that was held in the Chinese city of Hangzhou during June, and ranked fifth.
