The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure has published 5 guidelines to maintain the safety of individuals inside vehicles during the summer, which includes drivers and children, as part of the “Summer Without Accidents” initiative launched by the Ministry of Interior.

The guidelines published by the ministry included that to maintain your safety and the safety of those you love while driving, you must follow five guidelines:

  1. Not to let the vehicle operate for long periods and is stopped.
  2. Not to leave children in the car, whatever the period.
  3. Be careful not to put compassed fresheners inside the car.
  4. Avoid using the evaporator inside the vehicle.
  5. Ensure that a first aid bag is always and a fire extinguishing.

In turn, the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure affirmed through awareness videos through its digital platforms, the need to take care of the safety of people by extinguishing the vehicle engine and closing the doors when it goes down during refueling.

It also called for not smoking inside the fuel stations, whether near or far -firm supply machines, stressing that smoking in gas stations is a very dangerous behavior and may lead to severe consequences. She considered that preserving lives and property by refraining from smoking in these areas is the responsibility of everyone.
