The UAE condemns and denounces the strongest terms the decision of the Israeli government to occupy the Gaza Strip

The UAE expressed its condemnation in the strongest terms and its strong condemnation of the decision of the Israeli government to occupy the Gaza Strip, and warned of the repercussions of this disastrous decision, the occurrence of more innocent victims in the Strip and the aggravation of the human tragedy.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the UAE called on the international community, the United Nations and the Security Council to assume their responsibility and put an end to illegal practices that are incompatible with international law, and renewed its assertion that preserving the Palestinian right is no longer a political choice but rather an ethical, humanitarian and legal necessity.

The Ministry expressed the UAE’s refusal to categorically prejudice the unusual rights of the brotherly Palestinian people and try to displace it, and demanded that urgent steps to avoid fueling the situation in the occupied Palestinian land, and preventing the region’s drawing to new levels of violence, tension and instability, and the need to make all efforts without slowing to provide protection for civilians.

The Ministry stressed the affirmation of the established historical position of the UAE towards preserving the rights of the Palestinian people, and the need to find a serious political horizon that leads to a solution to the conflict and the establishment of a sovereign independent Palestinian state, and stressed that there is no stability in the region except by a two -state solution.
