"Reckless" Dubai model for a cohesion community that redefines the tender

Dubai, August 9 / WAM / The “Fakhr” club, which is located in the heart of the Al -Safa Park in Dubai, embodies a pioneering model in the paths of enhancing the quality of the lives of citizens in the country, and provides a new perception of the post -work stage as an active extension of giving and productivity, not a retirement station, as it seeks to enable citizens who have accumulated experiences to continue an active and fruitful lifestyle, which enhances their contribution to the support of the family National identity.

The club, which is one of the most prominent projects of “Dubai Social Agency 33” launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him, at the beginning of the year 2024, reflects the directions of the UAE that puts the well -being of retired people at the core of its priorities, as it offers integrated programs that cover the health, sports, cultural and social dimensions, in the framework of his endeavor to establish Dubai’s vision for a coherent society that trits experiences Previous, and invested in making the future, by integrating modernity with the values of the past.

Major General Dr. Ali Singl, health advisor to Dubai Police and the commander of the “Fakhr” project, said that the initiative that was launched under the umbrella of the Supreme Committee for Development and Citizen Affairs represents a qualitative shift in the post -retirement state vision, stressing that the goal of the initiative is to enable retirees to continue their role as active participants in national identity and family cohesion.

He added that “Fakhr” represents an integrated development practice, which enhances the concept of “no retirement from life”, and re -employed experience and wisdom through direct communication with new generations, and the transfer of the value and knowledge heritage in a contemporary context.

He explained that the philosophy of “Fakhr” is based on a double graphic model, in which the vertical axis represents the mental, psychological and physical balance, while the horizontal axis represents family and societal interaction, pointing out that the stability of the individual is reflected in the structure of the family and society as a whole.

He said that the club is witnessing an increasing demand, as its members exceeded 1366 members, including 780 men and 586 women, noting that the club’s capacity in one hour is between 30 to 50 members, with a total operating capacity of 300 members, some of whom were more active, exceeding ninety years.

He emphasized that the club rejects the logic of waiting for the end of life, and works to activate the energies inherent in the members, through programs that link mental and motor activity, and measure the indicators of mental, psychological and health performance, using accurate devices designed to achieve a comprehensive balance.

He said that “Fakhr” gives its members national responsibilities, not consumer concessions, stressing that many members have rebuilt their professional and social lives through the club’s programs, and some of them launched new projects or returned to the labor market, while others witnessed a remarkable improvement in their physical and psychological state.

Major General Ali Singgel highlighted an example of the inclusion of generations through the participation of retirees in the “bearings” event during the COP28 conference, where they conveyed their heritage knowledge to young men between the ages of 16 and 18 years, which created a dialogue between generations on identity and sustainability.

He revealed ambitious expansion plans that include the opening of a new club in the Al -Khawaneej region during the next month, along with three other areas under study, in addition to the initiative’s approach to get out of the clubs ’borders to reach residential neighborhoods and institutions, which enhances the scope of their impact.

For his part, Mohamed Abdullah Jassem, one of the club’s members, stressed that his joining “assets” changed his positive pattern, as the programs helped him to enhance his activity and health, and give him a renewed feeling of life, and gave him the opportunity to build fruitful social relationships and exchange knowledge with new generations.
