Sharjah, August 10 / WAM / The “Shamsa Entertainment City”, the latest family destination within the activities of “Sharjah Summer 2025”, witnessed a wide turnout from families and children since its inception at the Sharjah Expo Center, where it attracted thousands of visitors in its first week, providing an integrated entertainment experience that combines education, fun and creative interaction.
The city is one of the qualitative initiatives organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in cooperation with the Commercial and Tourism Development Authority, with the aim of supporting the entertainment sector in the emirate, and stimulating the tourism and economic movement during the summer season.
Aisha Saleh, head of the festival and shows department in the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, explained that “Shamsa City” comes within a strategic vision to transform seasonal offers into sustainable entertainment projects, which provide qualitative experiences targeting the family and child, and contributes to the consolidation of Sharjah as an entertainment destination throughout the year.
For its part, Amal Al -Hosani, head of the Media and Marketing Department in the Chamber, stated that the volume of turnout exceeded expectations, noting the great interaction with the various events that the city embraces, especially the entertainment competitions for children, and interactive daily performances, which strengthened the experience of visitors and contributed to creating a delightful family atmosphere.
