Nahyan bin Mubarak participates in the Pakistani community in the Emirates celebration"independence day"

Dubai, August 10 / WAM / His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, and His Excellency Faisal Niyaz Termahi, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the state witnessed a number of officials and a group of diplomats and economic and social figures from the Pakistani community in the country, the celebration of the people of the Pakistani community in the state on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the day of the independence of Pakistan, at the Dubai Exhibition Center in the city Expo Dubai.
The celebration attracted more than 60 thousand people, and was organized by the “Emirates Love Pakistan” page, in cooperation with the Pakistani Association in Dubai and with the support of “Dubai Police”, as it was an occasion to enhance the strong and rooted relations that link the Emirati and Pakistani people.

His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan said on this occasion: “I am honored and pleased to be with you today to celebrate the Independence Day of Pakistan. With hope in the future, and here in Dubai, it is also a celebration of the depth of friendship and brotherhood that brings together Pakistan and the UAE.
His Excellency added: “Our strong relationship is based on the foundations of common values, cultural heritage, love and mutual respect, and a common vision for peace and prosperity, and the UAE is proud to stand by Pakistan as a friend, partner and sister nation, and our ties increase the strength of every day thanks to the contributions of the people of the Pakistani community, who enrich their talents, serious work and creativity of life in our state.”
He continued: “The relationship between Pakistan and the UAE represents a model for the brotherly relations required to achieve social and economic prosperity in our world, and I am pleased to express with confidence that I am optimistic about the bright future that awaits our two countries together.”
His Excellency said: “In light of the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State“ may God protect him ”, and with the support of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God bless him Differences, and we encourage dialogue, and unite common values, and this societal harmony is one of our greatest achievements, and you – the children of the Pakistani community – an important part of this success, and today, and with you here in Dubai, we have a good reason to celebrate your national independence day.
He added: “In the spirit of common humanity, I would like to draw your attention to an important national competition for writing, organized by the“ Fund of the Nation ”in cooperation with the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence, and within the activities of“ The Year of Society ”, we call on all those who live on the land of the UAE to express their ideas on the topic:“ What does the UAE mean to me ”, the invitation is directed to all the population – citizens and residents, young and old – to provide their thoughts and personal experiences in life The UAE, whether in the form of short stories, poetry, messages or articles, in Arabic or English, through the official website: www.myuaestory.ae.
His Excellency expressed his confidence that many of the inspiring posts in this competition will come from the people of the Pakistani community, calling on the attendees to encourage their families, friends and colleagues to participate, and sharing their personal stories, dreams, achievements, feelings and gratitude, so that their words become part of a collective record of life in this country, a record that inspires future generations.

The celebration was keen to attend large numbers, especially by families and families from the people of the Pakistani community residing in the country, and the diversity of the agenda agenda, good organization, and the capabilities enjoyed by the event hosting site, Dubai Exhibition Center, Expo, Dubai, and the importance of the occasion among the people of the Pakistani community, in doubling the increase in the mass demand for the effectiveness that reflected the UAE’s keenness Establishing the ties of cooperation and love with various countries and peoples, and enhancing the values of coexistence through the participation of the various peoples of the world, their national, historical, cultural and popular celebrations, in an atmosphere that keeps pace with the privacy of folklore and heritage children of different countries and cultures.

During the event, the President of the Pakistani Association in Dubai, Dr. Faisal Ikram, announced the expansion of the Pakistan Medical Center, at a value of 45 million dirhams to enable him to provide advanced health care services.
Since October 2020, the center has provided many medical services to more than 140,000 patients from more than 100 nationalities.
The new expansion includes a radiology center, a dialysis unit, a physiotherapy unit, in addition to the expansion of current specialized services.
The Pakistani Association expressed its great appreciation of the Emirati leadership and its pioneering role in consolidating the values of coexistence and tolerance.

The celebration witnessed a diverse entertainment and cultural program, the most prominent privacy of the inheritance, heritage, and the Pakistani arts, and its wide diversity, the privacy of the Pakistani society with its culture, arts, music and popular folklore, and the diversity of the talents of the Pakistani community residing in the Emirates, in the context of one cultural identity, as well as the interaction and positive contribution of the community in the path of sustainable development that The UAE is witnessing, where the celebration included many cultural and artistic paragraphs and activities that included musical performances and traditional dances, a corner of heritage cuisine and artistic works that mimic the most prominent heritage and civilizational monuments inspired by the environment and the rich Pakistani heritage.

The celebration witnessed the honoring of a number of leading personalities and those with qualitative achievements from the Pakistani community, who through their giving on the land of the Emirates presented a model for excellence and success in many different fields and sectors.
His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan honored both Bashir Ahmed, Masoud Haider Aphraidi – institutional and Engel, a law firm in the Emirates, Abdel Salam and Shayda Salam – founders of Pristine Private School, the first Pakistani British school curriculum in the Emirates, Khan Zaman – founder of the Brahimi Palace Restaurant, the oldest Pakistani residing in Abu Dhabi, Muhammad Habib – founder of Habib Bank AG AG Zurich, and Saber Merchant – founder of the Champion Group has been working in building brands for the surfaces for 30 years, and Imam Ali – winner of the NASA Space Applications Award, Rafik Ali and Shakilal Ali – they are giving a family production studio in the Emirates, Farouk Samana and Amran Farouk – the founders of Samana Real Estate Company, Hassan Rashid – Founder of Pace Homes, and Ali Ashraf Tombi – founder of the company Aqua Real Estate, Shafi Tabbani – founder of the Prescott Homes Company, Antiq Rahman – the tallest Pakistani banking service in the Emirates, the former CEO of the City Bank Group in the region, Sanaa Mir – the most famous Kreikite player in Pakistan, and the first woman to be included in the Hall of Celebrities of the International Cricket Federation, and Shalaq Ahmed – the longest Pakistani journalist in the Emirates with the Gulf News newspaper.

Since the establishment of relations between the two countries in 1971, during the reign of the founding leader, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, the UAE has been keen to develop its relations with Pakistan in various fields continuously.
Last June witnessed the launch of the strategic partnership in government modernization between the UAE and the Republic of Pakistan, which reflects the commitment of the two parties to enhance joint action, mutual benefit from successful experiences in the government sector, cooperation in exchanging experiences, best practices, and developing institutional capabilities, in a way that contributes to supporting government modernization and development efforts.
The UAE is one of the largest countries in terms of investment in Pakistan, especially in the telecommunications, services, tourism, information technology, oil technology, gas, housing, banks and real estate.

His Excellency Faisal Nias Termti, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Emirates, said in a statement to the Emirates News Agency, “WAM”, that the relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan extend through decades of distinguished cooperation, and are based on mutual respect and constructive cooperation in various fields, especially in the economy, culture and human development.

His Excellency expressed his pride in the brotherly relations that bring together the peoples of the two countries, stressing the common concern to strengthen them through programs and initiatives that contribute to promoting cultural exchange, deepening economic relations, and bringing peoples closer through arts, music and rich popular heritage.

He stressed that the Emirati -Pakistani relations will remain a role model in bilateral cooperation, and work will continue to support everything that would enhance these historical ties, in a way that benefits the peoples of the two countries.

For his part, Rashid Al -Tamimi, director of the “Emirates Love” platforms, explained that this occasion witnessed a large presence of the people of the Pakistani community, along with a number of official personalities and businessmen, in a clear emphasis on the position of the Pakistani community within the fabric of the Emirati society, and its active role in the development process.

Al -Tamimi pointed out that this event comes within the framework of the state’s efforts and institutions to consolidate the values of tolerance and coexistence, and to create an environment in which everyone feels safety and respect, and everyone maintains his cultural and religious identity with freedom and pride.
