The Press Syndicate Council thanked President Abdel Fattah Al -Sisi, President of the Republic, for his response to the union’s demands to increase the allowance of journalists, as part of a package of public demands to improve the conditions of the profession and the conditions of journalists. The media, which is an essential pillar to enhance the role of the press in building societal awareness, and consolidating the values of integrity and constructive dialogue through a press that is committed to professionalism. The Syndicate Council renewed the commitment of journalists to their lofty message to convey the truth, serve the public good, and to upgrade the awareness of the Egyptian citizen, as one of the pillars of the development of the press.
