The Minister of Sports approves the establishment of a qualitative sports federation for desert and heritage sports
This afternoon, Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, met a group of public figures and members of the House of Representatives and in the presence of Major General Dr. Muhammad Al -Zamalout, Governor of the New Valley. Sports, in principle, it has been agreed to establish and form a board of directors of an Egyptian qualitative union for desert and heritage sports and launch it during the coming periods as a qualitative federation that is affiliated with the Ministry of Youth and Sports under the umbrella of the Central Administration for Sports Development in the Ministry. The goal of establishing the Federation is to collect many heritage games and adhere to our old heritage, which represents a large number of our customs and traditions in Egypt, which are revived by the Egyptian tribes, which will be achieved and enriched through the establishment of a qualitative union.
