Dubai Municipality is implementing 25 thousand field visits during the first half

Dubai, August 14/ WAM/ Dubai Municipality carried out more than 25 thousand field visits for construction auditing during the first half of the year 2025, an increase of 36% compared to the same period in 2024, through which it targeted more than 18,800 buildings under construction with an area of more than 36 million square meters, which reflects 11% growth in construction projects.
The municipality also issued 1,669 achievement certificates, an increase of 30% over last year, of which 1,484 villas, 74 multi -storey buildings, and 60 industrial buildings, adding approximately 2 million square meters of residential, commercial and industrial areas.
The percentage of commitment to laws and regulations reached 96%, while the amount of green concrete used exceeded 1.5 million cubic meters. 16.4 million cubic meters of the soil were rotated and transferred, and the issuance of 4,222 declines and the supply of sands, in addition to approving 1,126 requests to obtain free sand in support of building citizens’ housing.
Engineer Maryam Al Muhairi, Executive Director of the Foundation for Organizing and Licensing of Buildings in Dubai Municipality, stressed that the municipality attaches great importance to accurate engineering control over construction activities, to ensure the application of the highest quality and safety standards, in a way that contributes to providing a safe and sustainable building environment, and enhancing the quality of life in the emirate.
