Barcelona Football Club announced on Wednesday that the Spanish League “La Liga” adopted the injury of German goalkeeper Mark-Andre Ter Stegen as a long-term injury, allowing the club to register its new goalkeeper, Joan Garcia without violating the rules of fair financial play.
“The Medical Committee in the Spanish League decided that goalkeeper Mark-Andre Ter Stegen was injured by the long-term injury standards stipulated in the current regulations,” the Catalan club said in a statement published on its official website.
“The club (Thursday) will complete the procedures for registering player Joan Garcia immediately,” he added.
The Spanish league champion captain last season underwent a back surgery last month, after two seasons burdened with serious injuries, and despite this, the 33 -year -old goalkeeper refused to the borders of last Friday, to reveal his medical details, in light of Barcelona’s efforts to classify his injuries as a long -term injury by “La Liga”, which allows him to deduct part of the German salary from his official salary bill.
“Blawjrana” was planning to exploit the long absence of Ter Stegen to register his new contracts while compliance with the rules of fair financial play.
The German coach Hanzi Felk team has rented the contract of his veteran Polish goalkeeper Vojsik Cheesney as well as contracting with Garcia, who is 24 years old.
