Health governance teams fell 676 medical facilities within 15 days
The Ministry of Health and Population announced the implementation of governance and internal audit teams, a comprehensive passing through 676 medical facilities during the second half of July 2025, which included 211 hospitals, 388 units and a preliminary care center, and 77 medical stores in the governorates of the Republic, in implementation of the directives of Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health and Population.
These periodic campaigns aim to ensure the provision of high health services Quality, improving the efficiency of medical facilities, monitoring any performance deficiencies, taking immediate corrective measures. Abdul Ghaffar, the ministry’s official spokesman, revealed that the traffic revealed a shortage of security personnel and generators in some facilities, the irregularity of the maintenance of medical gas networks, the absence of fire alarm systems in some places, the weak evacuation plans or the non -implementation of periodic exercises, and the team also monitored the irregular presence of doctors, the accumulation of clinics, and the length of patient waiting periods. These notes by reviewing security contracts, providing sufficient numbers of security personnel, completing the requirements of civil protection, maintenance of electromechanics and fire systems, checking the safety of gas networks, and activating the service committees of citizens to follow up their complaints and opinions about the quality of the services provided.
