Dubai hosts two Worlds’s title in Mixed Martial Arts, October 3

The Association of Professional Fighters (PFL) has announced the organization of a new global event within the championships of the “Champions Championship: The Road to Dubai” on Friday, October 3 in “Coca -Cola Arena” in Dubai.

The event is witnessing two aspects of the world in the light weight of the world in light weight and the heavyweight, in partnership with the Dubai Sports Council and the Dubai Economy and Tourism Department.
This championship also comes within the framework of the “Road to Dubai” series launched by the League in November 2024, with the aim of providing combat championships at a global level and organizing the most prominent battalions in strategic cities, led by Dubai, which proved its ability to host major events amid a heavy public presence and remarkable global interaction, which made it a major destination for combat arts followers from all over the world.
The event is the top of a prospective battle for the world title in lightweight, which brings together the Dagestan fighter Othman Nurmahmadov (19 victories without defeat), and the Irish Paul Hughes (14 victories against two defeats), in a restoration of the confrontation that brought them together last January, and witnessed great competition for five rounds in the midst of an unprecedented public presence, and ended with the victory of Norm Mohamed Widely, which prompted the PFL to respond to the demands of the masses to restore the fight in the same cage that witnessed the start of this competitive story.
The event is witnessing a battle for the world title in a lightweight weight, bringing together the American Corrier Anderson (19 wins compared to 6 losses), the former Pilaturt champion, and the Turkmen Dolht Yagsimradoff (25 wins compared to 7 losses and one draw), PFL champion of 2024, in the face of a revenge character after their first meeting in 2021, which ended in favor of Anderson with the technical knockout. Since then, Yagsimradov has continued his series of victories, achieving seven consecutive victories.
The early combat card also includes a strong confrontation in the heavyweight between the Iranian Boya Rahmani (4-0) and the Tunisian Salim Traboulsi (8-0) to maintain their fair record, in addition to an exciting confrontation with a weight of 165 pounds between Zubira Tochogov (20-6-1) and Artem Lubov (14-15-1) in a postponed fight since 2018, and finally a big confrontation between the Middle East Champion of the Egyptian League Omar Al-Dafrawi (14-5), European Albanian hero Florim Zindili (10-1-1) in medium weight.
The event tickets will be launched for the public starting on Friday, August 15, at 12:00 pm Emirates time through the official website of “Coca -Cola Arena”.
