Jordan delegate at the Arab League praises the historical positions of the Emirates supporting the Palestinian people

Cairo, August 15 / WAM / Ambassador Amjad Al -Adayleh, the delegate of the permanent Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan at the League of Arab States, praised its ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt for the efforts of the United Arab Emirates led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State “may God protect him”, which aims to support the Palestinian people by launching urgent relief initiatives and sending hundreds of aircraft and ships loaded with food and medical materials and shelters, in addition Establishing the Emirati field hospital in Gaza and running relief convoys across Jordanian territory to the Strip.

Al -Adayleh appreciated in statements to the Emirates News Agency (WAM) today, the UAE’s historical positions on the Palestinian people and its constant keenness to extend a helping hand to the brothers in the most difficult circumstances and work with Jordan and the rest of the Arab countries to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinians and support their steadfastness on their land.

Al -Adayleh touched on the Emirati -Jordanian humanitarian effort through the Jordanian land bridge and the air landing implemented by the two countries to drop the aid by air and said that the UAE and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan are making joint efforts to deliver aid to the Gaza Strip across the land from Jordan, indicating that dozens of trucks loaded with humanitarian supplies are made daily.

He stressed that the UAE and Jordan will never abandon the Palestinian people, noting at the same time to the presence of Emirati and Jordanian field hospitals in the Strip to treat Palestinians and provide them with health care as well as receiving and treating wounded and injured in the sector in the hospitals of the two countries.

At the conclusion of his statements, Al -Adayleh affirmed that concrete actions and aid are the largest evidence of the Arab effort made to support the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
