Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi visits the opera house in the new administrative capital in Cairo

Cairo, August 17/ WAM/ His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, visited today the Opera House in the City of Arts and Culture in the new administrative capital in the Arab Republic of Egypt, which is the largest cultural and artistic edifices in the Middle East.

His Highness toured the corridors of the building and witnessed the unique designs it contains and historical handicrafts, and it is known for its facilities that include the opera theater halls, the music theater, the drama theater, the training rooms and the scenes rooms.

The main hall of 2,200 people can accommodate 4 levels and is prepared to receive international offers such as orchestra, rhythmic ballet, opera and global circus shows, and contains two moving towers to provide additional space.

His Highness, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, witnessed the music hall, which accommodates 1,200 viewers at three levels and is designed with the highest international specifications and standards, and is equipped with the latest advanced devices and technologies that help the participating orchestra, in addition to the “organ” machine equipped with 4044 music tubes to play all types of music, and the use of technique for absorbing high non -musical sounds.

His Highness expressed the drama hall that can accommodate 650 people, which is based on two levels and is prepared to present dramas and theater and “Tok Show” and is known for the latest advanced technological devices used in the hall such as translation for several languages, self -broadcasting of parties and events in satellite channels in addition to sound and light technology technology.

His Highness wrote words in the book of the major visitors to the house, saying: “I was honored to visit the city of arts and culture, all thanks and appreciation to all those in charge of this great cultural edifice.” His Highness and the Egyptian side exchanged memorial shields and took collective photos.
