Astronomical sealing observatory documents the birth of a new star inside "Triple nebula"

Abu Dhabi, August 18/ WAM/ The astronomical sealing observatory in the Abu Dhabi desert managed to take an accurate astronomical photo of dust and cosmic gas known as “Trifid Nebula – M20”, after a 11 -hour photo session, to reflect the astronomical scene, one of the most prominent and most beautiful tear in the summer sky.

Al -Sadim is located in the constellation of 4100 light -years away from the ground, and its diameter is about 42 light years, known as the “triple nebula” because of its appearance divided into three lobes due to the dark dust that falls in front of it, as it appears clearly in the captured image.

The image shows a stellar fountain that flows from one of the gas clouds in the heart of the nebula in the form of “two centuries”, which is the result of the birth of a new star inside the cloud, where its energy driven by the gases surrounding it abroad, in a heavenly scene that reflects the beginning of the life of a star in our galaxy, and the length of this fountain is about three quarters of light years.

A 14 -inch diameter telescope equipped with a monochrome camera was used to film this scene, and the filming process took place over a period of 11 hours, which included 213 pictures, each of which is three minutes, at the location of the level of light pollution level “BORTLE 6”.

Three main filters were used during filming, which included hydrogen “76 photos, with a total of 3.8 hours”, oxygen “55 photos, a total of 2.8 hours”, and sulfur “82 photos, with a total of 4.1 hours”.
