Sultan bin Tahnoon: The International Day of Humanitarian Action embodies the values of the established giving of the Emirates
Abu Dhabi, August 19/ WAM/ His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of “Fakhr Al -Watan” office, affirmed that the International Day of Humanitarian Action embodies the established values of the UAE in giving and human solidarity, and is an occasion to celebrate the heroes of the front lines who devote their lives to serve society and protect lives.
His Excellency praised, in a statement on the occasion of the International Day of Humanitarian Action, the pioneering role played by the UAE in supporting humanitarian efforts, especially in the Gaza Strip, within the “Al -Faris 3” operation, where it contributed to saving the health sector from collapse by operating field and floating hospitals that provided treatment for thousands of cases, as well as sending medical and relief assistance, and implementing vaccination campaigns that included hundreds of thousands of children.
He stressed that the celebration of this day comes within the framework of the “General Society 2025”, as a renewal of the covenant to continue supporting the heroes of humanitarian action, appreciating their qualitative efforts in promoting the spirit of solidarity and solidarity, and consolidating the UAE’s position as a global beacon for humanity.
