Abu Dhabi Hospitality Academy: Celebration of Emirati Women’s Day embodies the values of national cohesion
Abu Dhabi, August 27/ WAM/ His Excellency Sheikha Nasser Al -Nuwais, the Secretary -General of the United Nations Tourism Organization for the period from 2026 to 2029, confirmed a member of the Abu Dhabi Hospitality Secretariat Council – Lee Roche, that celebrating Emirati Women’s Day this year under the slogan “Hand in hand we celebrate the fifty”, embodies the values of cooperation and national cohesion, and reflects the leadership of the UAE in empowering Emirati women in fields All, and enhance its contribution to building society and supporting its presence in regional and international forums.
Her Excellency noted in a statement on this occasion that the Emirati women have the relevant follow -up from the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him”, in addition to the great support and advisory vision of Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak “Mother of the Emirates”, President of the General Women’s Federation, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme President of the Family Development Foundation, describing her Highness as a model An inspiration to lead and give her continuous efforts to raise the position of Emirati women and enable them at all levels.
She added that, thanks to the efforts of Her Highness and her entrepreneurial initiatives, Emirati women today are able to excellence and leadership locally and globally, and actively participate in competition for leadership positions.
Her Excellency pointed out that the prosperity of the tourism sector will not be achieved in a comprehensive way except through an effective participation of Emirati women, as it is the most capable of embodying the essence of the UAE with its firm culture, a distinct identity, and an authentic national spirit that expresses its deep appreciation of the continuous bids of the Emirates girls, and their dedication to performing pivotal roles that contribute to building a coherent society and a promising future.
She stressed the importance of the “Abu Dhabi Hospitality Academy” in its firm commitment to developing and developing Emirati women’s skills, and qualifying them to take advantage of leadership in the hospitality and services sectors, in line with the national approach that exalts the empowerment of women as a basic pillar of sustainable development and global entrepreneurial aspirations.
Al -Nuwais pointed out that the presence of national cadres in the tourism sector represents a fundamental element in promoting the national identity and consolidating the civilizational image of the UAE in front of the world, as the Emirati competencies, with its deep understanding of the country’s culture, values and history, is the best of building real bridges with visitors, and providing an authentic and rich tourism experience that reflects the spirit of the UAE and the pioneering position that is distinguished by the map of travel and global tourism.
For her part, Sheikha Al -Kaabi, a member of the Board of Trustees of the Abu Dhabi Hospitality Academy – Lee Roche, confirmed that the Emirati Women’s Day this year is an occasion to highlight the achievement of the UAE daughter during more than five decades of leadership and qualitative achievements. She pointed out that the great support by the wise leadership and His Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak contributed to establishing a firm national approach to empowering women, as a necessity to achieve comprehensive development.
