Launching the upgraded version of the platform "Invest in Dubai" Through Gitex

DUBAI, 13th October, 2018 (WAM) – The Dubai Commercial Registration and Licensing Corporation revealed its advanced version of the “Invest in Dubai” platform, which is developed in implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, regarding the establishment of a “unified digital window for establishing companies”, and in accordance with the decisions of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Deputy Prime Minister. Minister of Defence, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Dubai, regarding the adoption of the “Principles for Facilitating the Investor Journey” and the launch of the “Joint Channels Initiative.”
This came during the organization’s participation in the GITEX Global 2025 exhibition, held at the Dubai World Trade Center.
The new version adopts the 360 ​​services policy, which integrates all basic government services within a unified digital window supported by artificial intelligence.
These improvements constitute a step that helps develop digital government services in Dubai and simplify the entire investor journey, in addition to their role in achieving one of the main goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which is to increase economic productivity by 50% by promoting innovation and adopting digital solutions.
This update will contribute to the development of digital governance paths in Dubai, as it enables investors and companies to manage the entire license issuance process digitally, supporting all types of companies, legal procedures, and branch licenses, in addition to reducing unnecessary procedures and paper transactions.
Within the framework of implementing the 360 ​​services policy, the “Invest in Dubai” platform works to unify all basic permits and approvals from several major government agencies within one easy-to-use digital interface, and includes the services of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Community Development Authority, and the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, with additional entities joining in the coming stages to enhance the integration of government services.
His Excellency Ahmed Khalifa Al Qaizi Al Falasi, Executive Director of the Dubai Commercial Registration and Licensing Corporation, affiliated with the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai, said that launching the upgraded version of the Invest in Dubai platform and providing integrated 360 services comes within the framework of the pioneering journey led by Dubai towards raising global standards for digital government services, guided by the directives and vision of the wise leadership inspiring to provide investment experiences that are… The smoothest and easiest in the world, based on fruitful and constructive cooperation between the public and private sectors. This qualitative initiative also confirms our commitment to transparency, efficiency and innovation, and to work in line with the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33, which aims to enhance Dubai’s position as a leading global destination for business and entertainment.
With the new update, artificial intelligence has become a pivotal part of the Invest in Dubai platform, as it supports many important features such as interactive chat, reservation of trade names, and automated approvals of permits.
His Excellency Rashid Hassan Al Saadi, Acting Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation for the Labor Market Services Sector, said that the sustainability of the development of work packages in the country, including the “Invest in Dubai” package, confirms the keenness and integration of all federal and local authorities, to launch proactive services that enhance the experience of customers, within the framework of the requirements of zeroing out government bureaucracy, and government directions to pioneer government services in the Emirates, according to pioneering models of innovation, that enhance The reality of services and is working to redefine them based on new horizons for customer services, and a new concept of services that respond to their aspirations and priorities.
For his part, His Excellency Rashid Nazr Muhammad Rahma, Director of the Consular Services Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stressed the Ministry’s keenness to consolidate the integration approach between government agencies, in a way that enhances the efficiency of the service system and unifies efforts towards providing a pioneering and integrated government experience that embodies standards of excellence in the field of government services and meets the aspirations of various categories of customers, noting that the digital link with the “Invest in Dubai” platform for authenticating commercial documents comes in line with The objectives of the “Zero Government Bureaucracy” program are by simplifying consular procedures, reducing time, effort and cost, facilitating the journey of investors and doing business in the Emirate of Dubai and the various emirates of the country, as well as supporting the national campaign “The UAE is the Entrepreneurial Capital of the World”, which seeks to strengthen the country’s position as a leading global destination for establishing businesses and attracting investors from all over the world.
For his part, His Excellency Hariz Al Murr bin Hariz, Executive Director of the Organization and Community Services Sector at the Community Development Authority, said that the Community Development Authority’s participation in the Invest in Dubai platform confirms the integrated vision that Dubai is pursuing in its journey towards digital transformation, where technology is harnessed to serve people and enhance their quality of life in various fields. Through this partnership, the Authority renews its commitment to integrating the social and humanitarian dimensions into the digital system. This ensures that technology remains a means of achieving well-being and quality of life, and consolidates Dubai’s position as a global model in achieving a balance between technical progress and societal happiness.
In turn, His Excellency Saud Abdulaziz Kunkzar, Executive Director of the Air Transport and International Affairs Sector at the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, said that the Authority plays an active role in activating the digital system and issuing permits to practice activities related to the aviation sector immediately, under a unified digital umbrella, which contributes to facilitating the investors’ journey and enhancing Dubai’s competitiveness and leadership in various sectors, most notably the aviation sector.
In turn, Salwa Al-Adidi, Director of Data Management at the Dubai Commercial Registration and Licensing Corporation, said: “We were keen to develop the platform within a comprehensive digital vision that improves the mechanism of investors’ interaction with government agencies, and we seek to simplify the procedures for doing business in Dubai, and reduce their costs, as well as the time taken to complete them, by integrating services related to several entities while taking advantage of the capabilities of artificial intelligence in basic operations.” Providing compatible support across various channels.
