Al -Hashemi as Vice President of the Asian Golf Federation

The Vice President of the Emirates Golf Federation, Major General Abdullah Al -Sayed Al -Hashemi, won the position of Vice President of the Asian Federation, by obtaining 6 votes, representing the majority in the electoral meeting held on Wednesday.
The Emirates Golf Federation stressed in a press statement: “The victory of Al -Hashemi in the continental position is a prominent station in the consolidation of the UAE’s presence on the continental golf map, through initiatives and programs, aimed at developing the game, supporting emerging talents, and enhancing the golf infrastructure.”
For his part, Al -Hashemi said: “The next stage is full of challenges, but at the same time it carries great opportunities to build new cooperation bridges between the Asian Federation and Arab federations, with a vision focused on strengthening the role of Arab golf, as an active partner in formulating the future of the Asian golf, turning aspirations into tangible achievements, by increasing the number of championships in the region, supporting emerging players, and providing rehabilitation programs Advanced.
Al -Hashemi explained that he will officially start his duties in his new position, after the “Asia Pacific” championship, scheduled in Dubai next October, starting from a major continental event for the beginning of a new stage of expected achievements.
