Engineer Youssef Al -Sayegh, CEO of Jeddah Transport Company, explained that the expansion comes within the framework of the strategic memorandum of understanding signed with the National Housing Company, which aims to integrate public transport networks with modern residential projects, and reduce dependence on private vehicles by providing safe and comfortable transportation, indicating that this is in line with the targets of the Kingdom’s 2030 vision in building modern and integrated cities.

Al -Sayegh added that the integration between the governmental and private sectors is one of the main possibilities for sustaining services and raising their efficiency, stressing that the new service will cover Al -Jawhara Project housing, including the suburb of Al -Jawhara, Boufardia City and Al -Fursan, in addition to linking it to King Abdullah Sports City, in a way that facilitates the movement of the population, and ensures that the sports fans reach the activities and activities held on the stadium with ease and ease.
The new service includes the operation of fifty flights per day from five thirty in the morning until eleven thirty in the evening, through a path that starts from the neighborhoods of Marwa, Al -Kawthar and Hamdaniyah to the suburb of Al -Jawhara and Al -Jawhara Stadium.
The Jeddah Transport Company confirms its continued development and operation of a modern and sustainable public transport network, supported Urban development which is witnessed in Jeddah and contributes to raising the level of services provided to the population and visitors, in line with the aspirations of the Kingdom’s vision 2030
