The delegation of the World Council of Muslim Communities is visiting the Chinese Chinese and Ningxia provinces

Xinjiang (China) on August 30/ WAM/ His Excellency Dr. Ali Rashid Al -Nuaimi, President of the World Council of Muslim Communities, met His Excellency Okin Tonayzi, Prime Minister of the Self -Government Regional Chengyango Region in the People’s Republic of China.

During the meeting – which came within the framework of the council delegation’s visit to the boycott headed by His Excellency – a number of issues of common concern were discussed, in order to enhance the paths of cooperation and serve efforts to establish the values ​​of coexistence, tolerance and mutual understanding.

The visit witnessed the participation of the delegation in the third international symposium to combat extremism hosted by the city of Aromouchi in the Chinese province of Xinjiang, in the presence of representatives of more than 25 countries with the aim of exchanging experiences and enhancing joint international efforts in facing extremist thought.

His Excellency Dr. Ali Rashid Al -Nuaimi, His Excellency Lee Yivi, Chairman of the Communist Party Committee of the People’s Assembly, and Chairman of the Permanent Committee of the Regional People’s Conference in Ningxia County Self -Governorate of Hui Nationalism, also met on the sidelines of the activities of the seventh session of the China and Arab Countries Exhibition held in Yanchuan.

His Excellency stressed during the meeting the importance of the role that China is playing in managing cultural, religious and ethnic pluralism, noting that it represents a role model globally and said that the relations between China and the Islamic world are based on mutual respect and benefit from the experiences of both parties.

He pointed out that the world needs at this stage to a wise and responsible leadership that preserves stability in a way that reflects positively on all parties and stressed that Islam is a religion of coexistence and peace, stressing the rejection of any attempts to kidnap or exploit it to threaten others.

For his part, His Excellency Lee Yivi stressed the importance of the visit in providing bridges of communication and permanent dialogue between China and the Arab world, noting the historical relationship that binds the two sides and extends for more than a thousand years.
During the visit, the delegation of the “World Council of Muslim Communities” included a number of virtuous scholars, as well as heads and representatives of Islamic and academic institutions concerned with dialogue, understanding and joint coexistence, from Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Mali, Nigeria and Serbia.
