Cairo University opens a new intensive care unit at the Japanese Abu Al -Rish Hospital

Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel -Sadiq, President of Cairo University, opened the intensive care unit in the second round of the Specialized University Children’s Hospital & quot; Abu Al -Rish Japanese & quot; With a capacity of 17 beds, at a total cost of 47 million pounds, within the framework of the university’s continuous plan to develop university hospitals and upgrade the quality of medical services provided to children. The Japanese, Dr. Sami Amin, Deputy Director of the Japanese Abu Al -Rish Hospital, Dr. Ahmed Qaddah, Head of the Children’s Department at the Faculty of Medicine of Qasr Al -Aini, and Dr. Walid Abdel Moneim, a consultant to hospital development, and a number of medical and administrative leaders in the hospital. It included 27 million pounds for construction, and 20 million pounds to equip the unit with the latest medical devices needed for operation, the beds, seruau devices and industrial breathing, an audio wave device, a radiology device, a dialysis device, the patient monitoring devices and other devices needed to operate the unit, pointing out that the unit will provide its services annually to hundreds of children with critical cases. The President of Cairo University, the university administration is keen to continue supporting its hospitals, especially children’s hospitals, and developing its infrastructure in a manner that enhances its ability to provide the best treatment service for children from across the republic, and work to improve the quality of health care, scientific research and medical training in line with the international standards followed in this framework. The unit represents a qualitative addition to the services provided for sick children, and reflects the university’s commitment to applying the highest international quality standards in the health care provided, adding that the hospitals of the children of Cairo University are frequented by about half a million children annually receiving treatment services for free Distinguished medical cadres in all disciplines, and receive all sick cases of children from all over Egypt and outside. Noting that the hospital has central care for post -neurosurgery, catheter care, and special sponsorship of newborns equipped with 10 nurseries, praising the unlimited support provided by the Cairo University administration headed by Dr. Mohamed Sami Abdel Sadiq to the hospital, which enabled it to complete development and modernization operations.
